YSL Monogram Clutch / Wristlet

Hi All!

Has anyone seen in real life what the wristlet looks like now as online it doesn’t look the same as the previous design where the base is rounded like the actual WOC. The mix matalasse wristlet still has a rounded base but has the original monogram clutch changed its design like in the pic attached hmm

A bit adamant ordering online as I prefer a rounded base for the wristlet instead of the envelop style for this item.

Apologies but do you mind showing more pictures? At least from the front?
The issue with YSL is that they have many similar designs so it’s a bit confusing to identify the specific one you’re talking about.

I have a YSL wristlet clutch but I want to make sure that it’s the same version as this one.

Thanks for the reply! Here are some more pics from the site.

The version prior to this before it was named the Cassandre pouch didn’t have the folded bit on the base as per the images. So I’m not sure if this is an error on the site or it’s a new updated design.

Thank you! Yes I think I have the old version which is rounded at the bottom so it can still hold quite a bit.

It’s unfortunate that they put a stitch at the bottom (or at least it looks like a stitch) I’m concerned that could possibly pop if it couldn’t hold the pressure of holding all the items inside.

Yup it looks like a stitch at the bottom, hmm don’t get why they did that as it will hold less now.

I tried to find some YouTube reviews on the new design but doesn’t look like there’s any yet! I need to go into the store ask to look at one to see if it was a picture error online.

Luckily I bought the older version in black recently from Farfetch! But I wanted it in another colour and the YSL site only showed pics of the new design.

I bet a lot of department stores will still have old stock with the previous design. I also have the one with the rounded bottom, and would prefer it to the new version as well.

I just got it in green this weekend and mine does not have a stitch, it's the rounded bottom. I got it from the Crystals store in LV.

I bought mine last October. The one I have has a rounded bottom and no stitch at the bottom.

It’s a nice in between - not matte, but not super glossy. I’ve only had it a few days, and it’s only been out once - to a short dinner with my teenage son. I wish it came in tons of colors in all hardware choices! It’s a great little clutch! It’s what I had hoped the bill pouch would be.
