YSL Kate monogram medium/large help!

Hi guys,

I plan on purchasing a YSL Kate bag but can't seem to decide between the medium or large size. I'm 5'2 and want something thats a 'just right' size and looks good when over the shoulder or double chained etc. I can't seem to find any informative pictures apart from these two models modelling them on the links below. I was wondering if anyone on here has any of these in either size to help me with reference as i don't live near a Saint Laurent store.

Sorry your post is a few days old but I'm gonna respond in case you're still looking for an answer. I'm 5'6 and I just ordered the large Kate after trying it first in store. The large is very big, and looks a bit disproportionate but I require all of my bags to hold my Dior long wallet (I hate taking stuff out of my wallet) so I got the large. The large is a smidge smaller than a Chanel Jumbo flap, so just keep that in mind.

Apart from wanting the "right size," what else do you want in a bag? For example, do you need it to hold a specific amount of things? If you just want it to look right on you, then I'd say go for the medium. It'd be a great size for your height. It doesn't hold a full size wallet though, so it'd be good if you were using cardholders or a small wallet.

I wasn't too sure on the large either due to how large is appears so I am thinking of going for the medium. I just need it for day to day essentials like my phone, keys, and wallet etc but I'm thinking of purchasing a card holder as its less bulky. Plus since I intend to use this for more special occasions/nights out I think the medium would be perfect!
