YSL Downtown Calf leather or patent?

Please help me pick which leather to get. Should I get the calf leather which can take more abuse than the patent. I don't know .... help...

hmmm, for me it would depend on the size and color you are thinking of getting
...for example, I love the small black patent downtown but if I were getting a medium or large, I would probably get calf leather cuz I find patent more flashy

I own it in red patent and lOVE it!!! It's the only bag that people stop and make comments on. And the patent is great because I don't worry about being careful with it....plus I live where it snows, so it wipes down easily

I got the DT small in patent...love it . thinking of getting the purple too.
