I am between two bags . Ysl Cassandra satchel in black . What I live about it is the unique way to open it and room inside . I can actually fit full size wallet , my sunglasses , keys and there will still be room. What I don’t like is that it’s very muted . Most ysl bags come with chain strap . This one has leather strap and ysl logo is brass gold tone. I never seen it in person but saw similar bag from ysl that opened like that and it was very exciting. I love unique ways to open bags. I love Gucci’s new zumi bags because you push these two pins and it opens . Something so simple makes you feel so special .

Now talk about ysl Vicky wallet on chain. Why I like wallet is that unlike other Vicky bags it is flat when you wear cross body . I love the new very shiny gold tone and huge logo and I like the quilted look but kinda fresh .
Cons are I can’t have full size wallet . I can’t carry my sunglasses , my phone might maybe fit. I wear a lot of dresses and I can see wearing that crossbody and it’s just a candy on any outfit . Plus I’ll have some money leftover to buy these shoes I love.

Cons with Vicky is not being able to fit much and same reason why I love the bag because it’s so shiny , it might come off as little too much on your face .

Between two bags which one is in your opinion I should get ?

It’s difficult to choose because one is a bag whilst the other is a wallet on chain.

I personally like the YSL Cassandra bag more because it is more practical. You don’t have to downsize your belongings and it can work from day to night. It’s very elegant but would still look really cool dresses down with jeans etc. I also prefer antique gold over shiny gold so it suits my taste more.

However, I think you should get the YSL Vicky Wallet on Chain. If you are drawn to the shiny gold and think it will fit most of your outfits then you can’t go wrong. You don’t need a separate wallet for that bag, put your cards in the card slots and cash in the zipper. When I tried this wallet on my phone and sunglasses did fit inside, so yours might too. :)

Maybe it’s just to me, but I honestly think that Vicky is a failure , regardless it’s a woc or should bag or whatever. It looks like a loaf of bread…especially the patent leather ones…

I just gotten it yesterday and I love how it’s very practical and also matches with any outfit. You can use it as a clutch, shoulder bag or crossbody, suitable for any occasions. I love that it’s sturdy too and you can fit all your essentials inside. Gotten a lot of compliments on it on my first day of bringing it out!

Thanks! I ended up buying a GV3 instead! Very happy with it, though more expensive.

I have my eye on gv3 also in medium chestnut color. I think it’s a great looking bag . I’m just scared it will look old fast because of the suede sides and interiors. Let me know how you like it ? Should I get one ? It’s such a understated beauty . Congrats :))))

Hi I got the medium GV3 in black quilted leather. I like the way it is organized with many compartments, and is spacious. It is extremely well made, and even though it is leather outside and suede inside, it is light. The only thing is that i like the top handle in the YSL Cassandra, which is missing here, so it is a different look. I was in the UK and got a better price and tax refund, otherwise it is way too expensive for me. I am hoping to enjoy it for many years :)

I ended up switching it with Cassandra wallet on chain. It’s bigger than usual wallet on chains . It’s easy grab and go bag that elevates my outfits. The reason I decided switch it out; I was putting alit of stuff in it and it was heavy and closing mechanism worried me . It also has the same feel plus nice chain that’s not overly chunky. I’ll tell you one thing it’s extremely durable leather and it looks very classic and the way it opens is so chic in my opinion. I don’t think it’s a everyday bag because of the opening mechanism is not very practical. It’s sort of a bag you wear once in a while to polish outfits. Other ysl bags have magnetic closure and very easy for everyday use. I am happy with the crossbody version of it woc. I manage to fit all my essentials which is usually lipgloss sunglasses my cards . Car key.
