Hello all—what is your favorite travel bag for an overnight to two-day stay? Something that could hold your folded clothes a pair of shoes, not much else. I'm thinking something that's the size of one of the smaller LV Keepalls. Thoughts? Needs to be lightweight and have shoulder strap(s).

Own duffle, made from recycled airline seat leather.
Here is web photo of it:

But I do not pack much for quick trips. And duffle is large.
Just use polyester/nylon zippered tote or backpack.
Timbuk2 medium messenger bag would be good, also, imo.

For longer trips, I use soft suitcase, which converts into backpack. Empty weight < 3lbs.
Here we are, launching for a month trip:

I do not check baggage on airlines, carry-on only.

Hope helps.

Depends if I'm driving or flying and if it's for business or just a quick get away for some R&R.
I typically grab either the Lesportsac or Tumi weekender bags. The Tumi is really DH's but I use it for short business trips.

Longchamp Le Pliage. I've had my custom nylon travel bag since last autumn and I seem to be carrying it almost every time I travel or need to carry alot. I've taken it on a work trip where I needed both work attire for the meetings and ankle boots and other ruffles for dinner and night out. All fit perfectly and I didn't need a separate handbag.

A Large nylon or Néo LP would probably be a great size for you- I do love my LP Cuir Medium as well, and if you pack minimally, it might fit all your necessities. If not, there's a Large size as well.
All Le Pliages are light as a feather, durable and the selection is endless.

Longchamp Le Pliage expandable duffle! Enough for a couple days trip and can expand to accommodate any souvenirs I want to bring back. Very sturdy and light.

I swear by rolling suitcases but sometimes stack as small bag on top near the handle when I have more stuff or to put souvenirs from the airport. I've been eyeing the Cuyana Overnight Bag in this soft taupe.
