Love the new feature of the warning that a thread is very old!

Hopefully this will stop people from replying to theads from 3 years ago where the OP was asking if it should be the blue dress or the greeen dress that they wear to the wedding next weekend.

Only problem with it is that if somebody does resurrect one from the crypt, the next person doesn't get that notice and thinks it's a fresh(er) thread.

I hope so! As I (clearly) resurrected one. Not five years old, but 6 months old. Depends on topic matter.

I always find it amusing too to see threads bumped when they're very time sensitive. Having said that - I just found a thread that's 1 year old and I'm thinking that resurrecting it would be better than starting a new one? The thread is about 'which LV bag for which occasion' and everyone lists their bags by occasion. Would this be appropriate? Torn between the "do a search because someone has already answered this" and "this is an old thread".
