Year round color?

Thanks you guys. I'm torn between getting something in a blue or finding a used rouge bag. Also fascinated by metallics. Is a metallic bag too weird too have all year? Would I look ridiculous? Maybe will go to ebay and find something metallic....decisions decisions!!
