YAY or NAY?

Hi ladies, I brought the Dionysus home with me last week but I'm having second thoughts now 🙁 Should I exchange it for a 'Padlock GG Supreme Shoulder Bag' or 'GG Marmont Leather Shoulder Bag'?

It is my first Gucci and I really want a 'classic' bag rather than something that's currently 'in' and forgettable later on.

omg I really love that bag!! so pretty! I say keep it... it is still classic gucci but with a twist... I just bought the tian boston and I love it, because the print will not be around forever I feel like it is unique and my very own

Yay!!! The bag is indeed very popular right now, but the silhouette is still classic enough for it to be a lifelong partner

Ok well I will give you a different opinion. I love the Marmont. It is beautiful and totally classic and striking in red. I am also a tad more of a classic girl though and not risky.

It's beautiful, but I vote for the Marmont! I think it will have more longevity.

Wow, difficult choice, I like all 3 too

The Dionysus has aged-silver hardware and the other 2 have strong gold, which colour hardware do you need more?

I like the Marmont shape and one (lovely) colour - not sure about the running GG for me, a bit obvious.

The Padlock is lovely combo of colours.

The Dionysus is fabulous for Summer but I think with the strong red will be fine for Fall and Spring too, and all-year for evenings, plus the hardware is amazing and discrete when you need it to be.

I would be tempted to keep the Dionysus, for me it's more of a unique piece.

I vote for the Marmont too. I also like more classic style handbags which will always be in fashion, if you know what I mean.

I like the one you bought too but, being in the same position as you and looking for my first Gucci, I would start with a more "classic" style and then start adding other styles. There is no right or wrong way of doing it, just an opinion 😊

I'm leaning towards the last bag, simple and elegant. All bags are great choices though, just my preference for less going on.

The dionysus with blooms is such a gorgeous piece. I bought a few pieces of the bloom line myself. I would keep it.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts! It was hard to decide but I've decided to keep the Dionysus just because the Gold hardware of the other two was too 'loud' for me.
