Yay or Nay on this ring? Opinions please?

I'm surprised so many people dislike this ring!!

I really like it! For some reason, I've always been drawn to miniature things, so I think a little mini pair of sunglasses for a finger is really cute. As long as it's not too expensive, I'd go for it.

That's the main reason I want to get it because I have been on a miniature kick lately and I just think it would be a great addition to my collection of miniature things jewelry... hehe~

Does it make a difference if I say that actually its only $20 because its only gold plated and I think Karmaloop has some coupons for more discounts, I think. Oh, and here's a modeling pic of it on someone's hand from their site:
