This is such a stunning bag. I have been wanting one of the Dionysus bags for a long time. I wasn't interested in the monogram, but this one intrigued me.
The chain is very light weight and you can double it if you need to wear it on your shoulder. It holds lots of narrow items but not bottles or key case and phone. You have to choose carefully what you out into it and pack it accordingly. I tried it with my LV mini pochette but it strained the closure. I could do it but not with my phone in its case.
It is very hard to snap closed. The part that snaps is curved so it's not a flat snap. I heard on a video that it was made this way so you could fill up the bag.
It's such a cool bag, but I have my reservations on the closure being difficult.
If anyone who has this can chime in on the snap closure, I'd love it

I have this bag in blue blooms and have mixed reviews on it. It's pretty to look at but honestly, the snap closure drives me insane sometimes. I have to use two hands and line if up perfectly to close it which can be a hassle when I have a toddler in my hands. But if you don't close it, everything will fall out. I wanted to use this as a quick grab and go bag but I instead bought the disco and DH gifted me a LV pochette for that. Instead I only use my Dionysus for date night or those times when I don't need to get in and out of my bag a lot.
It's nice since it can be used as a crossbody, shoulder bag, and a nice clutch. So the versatility is great. At the same time though I almost wish I would've gotten the smaller Gucci WOC or a speedy B25 for about the same price. Only reason I kept it is bc I wore it shortly after purchase and I needed a clutch anyway and this one is very pretty. I just hate spending almost $1500 after tax on something I'll carry once every blue moon.

Oh back to the closure, a magnetic closure would be so much more helpful on this bag since that would make it easier to line it up without having to fuss with it.
And you definitely can't fit the mini pochette in it but I can put in my cles with my phone still in the case. I have a small case on my iPhone 6s though.

Thanks so much for your input! It is weird that they made the closure like this....I wonder if they thought it should be filled up with our essentials, thus taking up the space where it snaps. I agree magnetic would be better.

Unfortunately, I am sending it back because it is so difficult to close unless you look closely and line up the snap.
Gucci was very nice when I told them and they sent me a prepaid return label.
Sorry it didn't work out. I would've done the same thing. Are you going to replace it with something else?
The Dionysus collection is really stunning. It's a beautiful bag that from a purely aesthetic viewpoint, can elevate a lot of different outfits.

So excited! That was actually the first one I wanted but they were always sold out .

Thanks! I ended up sending it back because it was hard to snap closed. But replaced it with the other Dionysis! It's the one with GG canvas and taupe suede .
It really is a stunning collection, and so hard to choose which to get. I'm pretty causal dresser, so it will be worn with jeans a lot.
