Michael Kors Xmas gift for wife, looking for something similar to the Michael Kors Heidi Hobo

Hi all,

I am looking for some recommendations on a purse for my wife for Christmas. She was browsing online and mentioned that she liked the look of the Michael Kors Heidi bag but preferred black.

I was hoping I could get some recommendations for purses similar to this one but preferably in black. Also if possible, I would like to keep it under $700.

Suggesting something else will depend on what she likes about the Heidi. Is it the size, the shape, the handle style, or that big buckle? It's a lovely bag, but be careful with 'something else' unless you know the direction to head.

I agree that it would be good to know what it is about the bag your wife likes so you can look at similar options. I would suggest looking at Marc by Marc Jacobs Petal to the Metal Evie Hobo. It's similar in shape, also has a zip closure and gold hardware. It comes in black and is within budget

I personally think the Twisted Q Groovee satchel looks a bit more classic though. It's not the same style as the one your wife was looking at but also looks slouchy, has a gold face plate and a detachable strap so it can be worn over the shoulder.
