So I'm attending my first ever Writers Conference this weekend. The Aloha Writers Conference at Kapalua, Maui (Hawaii). There are authors and agents and I hope to make this a good experience for me.

Are any tpf'rs published or aspiring writers?

I've not been to a writers' conference in ages. Was signed up for one and had to cancel last year, unfortunately. Unpublished except boring academic stuff and some poetry back in the day

Just a quick photo. The ritz at Kapalua is such a beautiful property. I had a blast this weekend. I did my first pitch and it was a great experience. I definitely have more reason to keep up with my writing!

Off topic, but is there a thread for aspiring writers to swap a few chapters of works in progress on TPF? Would love to start one if there isn't. There are so many members here who are either published or unpublished.
