Hello everyone

I came across one of these by accident. I love the pink Dylan satchel

but I have seen it in several shades and not sure which one is accurate and see no pics posted here.

My questions are:

1. I like small/medium bags, which are my best style options?
2. Are these bags hardware heavy? I don't want to carry rocks, LOL
3. Is the leather "scratchy" or irregular? I am thinking like B Makowski?

I also love this bag but think it may be too big

hey melissatrv,,, i to have some coach bags,,, although im not sure i would be able to call myself a coachie,,, i own 2 cambridge totes,,, a green pearl peyton,,, a new metallic mad parker hippie,,, etc,,, love em all cause they are leather,,,, but if you like leather you'll love lps!!! don't even compare em to makowskys,,,, much much better than those. they are all very lightweight and very comfy to carry. i own 2 dylan totes, 2 large speedys and 2 croc speedys,,, and several wallets and clutches. you should def try one you will be a lp lover too.

Hey! I tried to reply to your private message, but your inbox is full! I love this bag. It is a larger bag, but I'm 5'1", and it sits right at my waist. It is thin, and fits nicely on my shoulder without being too bulky. The leather is like butter. I have many coach bags, but this leather is softer to me. It's washed italian leather, and like the previous message states, it is lightweight. Unlike the coach bags, it has a more bohemian style, with rough edges, which i like. It's a great everyday bag. I typically carry a small makeup bag, a lodis frame wallet, my droid, a compact umbrella and a water bottle. It can get a liitle heavy if you overload it, but it has the zip out expander which is nice. As a shorter girl, I don't feel like it overwhelms me at all. This is my 4th Linea Pelle bag, and I love the line. All of the bags are beautiful. The bluefly.com price is great. I got mine at Bloomingdales, with a coupon, but still paid over $300, and felt like that was good price, so I would snap that one up if I were you! You won't be sorry. I get compliments on my bag all the time! I can't say enough about the leather. It's just to die for!

I used to be a super faithful coachie..not anymore!! I am a super duper LP'er :D:D The leather just doesn't compare to anything else I have ever had especially my $1100 Balenciaga, my lp's are a fraction of the price and the quality is amazing! Go for it!!

I just got my first LP 2 weeks ago (a Dylan Zip Tote) and I LOVE IT. I too started out with Coach, but have moved on. The LP leather is yummy and smooshy and smells heavenly. If I could eat it, I would. So far, its holding up really well and has been complimented quite a bit. Don't hesitate - you won't regret it.

the croc leather is amazing and holds up wonderfully imo. i have wallet & several bags in croc leather that still look brand new and get heavily used. as a matter of fact the wallet has been used daily for almost a year and it still looks amazing. you will love it!

i too use to be a Coach only gal, but then switched to LP and then Hayden Harnett... my whole collection is pretty much most of the LP Collection over past 2.5 years or so and I love all of my LP bags.. all of them... the leather is lovely and wears very well, the customer service is pretty good as well.

I bought the Croco Zippy satchel in turquoise. I LOVE the leather and can see how everyone is a convert! Such a rich color!! However, I find the bag to be a bit heavy and larger than I thought. Are there any styles which are lighter. I am a small/medium bag girl. Usually carry satchesl or small shoulder bags which can be hand carried or on the crook of the arm...thinking all the hardware/studs add to the weight of the bag...of course that adds to the look of it too. I really would love to get another if I can find a good fit for me.

i don't hand carry bags often but there was a dylan mini speedy. see post 30 http://forum.purseblog.com/linea-pelle/linea-pelle-reference-pictures-only-293247-2.html and then the next page post 39.
not sure if the mini came in the croc leathers though. were you looking for something in croc specifically?
