I just got this and visually I'm in love with it (the beaded bag in the front). It's a micro. I've had a small D-Joy on my list for a while but I'm just not interested in anything they've come out with that's in the budget. I can technically fit my phone, a skinny card holder and my flat key. But I also have glasses that I need to carry sometimes and that's pushing it. Is it worth keeping for the couple/few times a year that it works? I have all the basic colors covered but wondering if I should change to a dressy mini lady Dior instead. Anyone have a micro d-joy and how useful do you feel it is? Thanks for any help

If you truly adore it, and will use it through the years, then keep. I find mini bags very useful when traveling. (Also decide if you do not purchase, will it be constant regret as the one that got away). Otherwise pass.

I use a Valextra universal eye glass case (fits everything including sunnies) but takes up less room bc the temples are exposed. My mini bags including a Mini Kelly II accommodate sunnies plus necessities that way. (An Hermes calvi is too thick when I add stuff like sunscreen or hand sanitizer, and iPhone —no case— so I use a thinner H card case). A dior accordion card case is way too large. Good luck.

ETA: I only buy Dior bags that I will use a lot and am most happy with my Dior men’s ergonomic crossbody saddle. However, I do admire Dior embroidery and detail embellishment.

I think it depends on your lifestyle, your existing handbag collection/gaps, & how much you love the bag, and your budget.

I have a pretty decent purse collection that covers most of my needs. I love the lady Dior & Chanel classics & use a few as everyday bags. But I don’t have these bags in small sizes for formal events. (Although I do have a different bag or two that I use). I wouldn't mind picking up a micro djoy in a black beaded or an embroidered metallic color for formal events. (Or I might look at a mini lady Dior or even a mini Miss Dior).

Prices these days are absolutely crazy. And while I like the mini lady Dior, I’m not sure that I want to spend $10k on a limited edition. But a micro djoy that I absolutely adore for almost half that amount (even if it isn’t as roomy) may be a better option for me. Yes, I would be splurging but it would be worth it to me over the long haul.

I saw Utuber, Je suis Lou, with a micro djoy that I absolutely adored. And, yeah, if I walked into Dior with money in my pocket, I would have walked out with that micro djoy, too.
