It reminds me of the foot on a sewing machine or a binder clip. It’s almost as if they clipped it into place to be sewn and it indented too hard.

It would bother me but not enough to put in effort to go to the store and complain about it. I also wouldn't want to wait on the repair/exchange. Though it might deter me from considering a custom piece again. At least in store you can examine it first =/
