Michael Kors would you or could you punch another hole in a strap

On you Saffiano leather crossbody? Even at it's shortest it's really not at the right level for me i do know i can punch other softer leathers but was unsure on the Saffiano.

Mine is the large JS x-body in case that matters at all.

Yes, you can punch a hole in saffiano leather. I added 2 holes to each of my shoulder straps for my Selmas and Sutton to add length.

Yes, I have done it on my jet set tote to lengthen the straps, it was easy!

Just make sure you plan to keep the bag and never want to sell. Custom alterations can devalue the bag. They are worth all original, with all of their parts, icluding any hang tags, etc. unless you do it well enough it doesn't get noticed, and don't ever plan on selling it. .

You can have another hole punched at your local leather care shop (shoe/bag repair shops). You just want to make sure they have the tool that will make the right size.

I should mention i do have a real, proper leather hole punch it's part of the horse gear, comes in handy for other stuff too of coarse, it has an array of hole sizes.

My leather hole punch also has various hole sizes to choose from. I was careful when I punched the holes, so no issues. They all look perfect and almost as good as a professional.

Mine came from the tack shop lol actually we have two, one got misplaced so another was bought...

I just wasn't sure how Saffiano leather handled it but then it is leather ... thanks for the feedback guys!

I guess I was really low tech, lol I just measured carefully and used a metal shish kabob skewer
