Hi ladies,

I tried finding an existing thread but couldn’t find one. This is probably a no brainer for some but I do need your thoughts...if there is already a thread, please post the link.

Would you ladies ever mix logos? I work in the city and I carry two purses everyday. One work bag with my laptop, water bottle, lunch, cosmetic case etc. and one purse with my wallet, mint, sunglasses etc. I currently use a Longchamp Le Pliage as my workbag and LV Pochette Métis or Alma PM (both mono) as my purse.

I’ve been thinking of diversifying my collection and thinking of purchasing Goyard Artois MM. I would love to get a monogram NF MM but I feel like everyone has it in NYC and I already got one for my mom’s bday.

My question is: would you ever mix logos - or is that just simply fashion faux pas/a no no? And God forbid I get a Goyard, use it along with an LV mono bag while wearing my Burberry scarf! Is that tacky/too much?

I would love to hear honest answers - if answer is no, I was planning to get a NF in noir Epi leather. Or I can also get a solid color small purse (ie Alma BB in noir epi) and match it with the Goyard Artois.

Thoughts? Thank you all so much! :)

I think it can look great to mix logos! Yes yes yes! It all comes down to how you do it. For example, using a Burberry scarf with a LV bag can look very classy. Using a Goyard as a tote bag and a LV as a purse can also look great. I saw a couple of examples of how some chic ladies used a Chanel CF with a LV Neverfull as a tote, where the CC interfered with the LV. It looked great! And finally, using a twilly from whatever brand to protect the handles of a bag from another brand can also look amazing and stylish!
I also use a WOC with a LV speedy. I use a Michael Kors tote with a LV purse. Never felt that I was drowned in logos. And my suggestion is to go with your gut feeling. If you like it, then do it. I know some people would say "yikes" or whatever, and this comes usually from jealousy. Listen to your own feeling!

The only thought I want to add is this sounds like you are asking about mixes logos at work? Once you add work in the equation it makes it super personal. Everyones work place environment is different and career goals are different. You should consider what carrying multiple labels at YOUR workplace will say about you. Do you care what it says about you? Do you have to worry about what clients think? Is your boss catty? What do the people in positions of power (or who you admire) what do they carry? If none of this matters to you then listen to random people on here. But if it does matter then think about your work environment carefully and how that makes your situation unique.

Thanks for your response! My office environment does not mind seeing people with designer goods...in fact, I believe people appreciate them. Thanks again

I think mixing brands is no big deal. I would hesitate to mix a bunch of overt logos - even if they were the same brand, much less different brands. IMO it looks just as bad mixing numerous head to toe Chanel or LV logos as it would to mix a Burberry plaid with an LV Mono with a Gucci snake. A tote with a handbag from two different designers seems fine as long as they aren't both heavily logo-ed. I'm not a huge Goyard fan but their prints are pretty subtle to the average person that doesn't follow designer brands.

Got it! Would you say that you wouldn’t be ok wearing a NF mono and Pochette Métis mono together? Would NF damier and a small mono purse work better? Just curious so I know my options :)
