I think it looks very nice. that leather might be prone to scratching. I guess it depends how much scratches will bother you, how hard are you on your bags and to an extent what you paid for it.I just ordered this Mark Cross bag. It's very pretty. I am also very clumsy and worried I'll ruin this. This leather is called dover box calf and it seems delicate. Anyone have experience with this kind of leather? Would you keep or send back?

It's a beautiful bag! I have a Mark Cross box calf leather bag too. I got mine preloved at a great price in a pristine condition. I don't baby it but I am careful with it and so far there are hardly any scratches. But this isn't my everyday bag. I also knew that my bag would scratch easily when I bought it cuz I have another box calf from Ferragamo. My Ferragamo bag has a lot of scratches cuz it's a vintage bag, but it's held its shape very well and I don't mind the look of the scratches. ( the scratches are only noticeable in closeup pictures and closeup views)I just ordered this Mark Cross bag. It's very pretty. I am also very clumsy and worried I'll ruin this.
