Would you get a pre-owned Love bracelet?

Would you get a pre-owned love if authenticity is guaranteed?

I am asking because here in Japan where I live, there is a very developed 2nd hand brand bag/jewelry market. As long as you buy from one of the big chain stores, authenticity is guaranteed. They do a great job cleaning and polishing up the goods that they are always in pretty good condition. There is also a universal ranking system so you know the condition for better comparison.

But still I am not sure if I want to get a pre-owned love, for sentimental reasons. But I wonder if I should take advantage of the 2nd hand marker while I'm here. A good condition yellow gold bracelet costs roughly USD4,200 with tax (current fx).

Yes, I would get a preloved if one were available to me. As long as it's authenticate I wouldn't car.

I would definitely get a pre-loved Love bracelet if it were guaranteed to be authentic! I trust the screw system on the older bracelets more than the new version, anyway...

Definitely! I bought my YG cuff preloved from a TPF friend earlier this year and it was originally purchased direct from Cartier in October 2012, so it was in almost new condition when I received it with certificate, box etc.

I am debating adding a RG cuff or full Love bangle at some point to stack with my YG and would almost certainly opt for a preloved one again, especially for a bangle due to the issues with the screw system.

Thanks for the topic my thoughts exactly as I've been debating as well. The new one at the store out the door is like $7k for a YG so I've been looking at eBay and been thinking as well. Hmmm
