Would you ever buy a leather bag from JCrew?

I saw a leather bag on the JCrew website and thought it's simplicity was great for an every day bag. The stores, however, don't sell it, and I like to try the bag on instead of blindly ordering it on-line and paying return charges, etc. Anyone, buy from them before?

Never bought a bag from them but if I saw one I really liked, would buy it and if I did not like it, I would return it.

If you are near a store, check their return policy. You may be able to return to the store. Most stores allow a store-return for an online purchase.

I've never purchased a bag from them before, but the bags on their website look like they are pretty well made. I would definitely contact your local JCrew and ask about the return policy.

i echo the other comments -- buy it and if you don't like it, return it. in my experience, their customer svc is great and have always been super helpful in the past. i don't know their return policy off hand.

I bought a simple brown leather tote for meetings, etc from Jcrew and the thing is very good quality and still looks perfect after years of use. I was very impressed.

I agree. It's nice to have a few non-designer bags in your collection for different occasions. Plus, nice leather is nice leather.

I've ordered before, but end up returning them. They just weren't what I pictured. You can return them to a store.
