Would you buy this chanel mini for $1966?

hope you are all keeping well. So i like this chanel bag it has a lot of the hardware peeled off so i was wondering do you guys think it is worth the price tag it is vintage (almost 19 yrs old) with a magnetic closure. Its the rectnagualr mini i do love the colour but is it worth it! Help me out xxx thank u

What’s worth it to one person may not be worth it to another as it’s not exactly a little money as it is. I wouldn’t personally go for it given the hardware chipping as Chanel won’t repair on a bag that old. It also looks like there is discolouration to the flap in the centre.

No. Aside from the hardware issues the bag has a magnet closure, meaning it's not a classic and should be much less in price.

Not for $2K... maybe 5 years ago or so I bought a similar age mini in much better condition on the marketplace here for less than $700, t's reasonable to expect the resale value to tick up a little on the older bags with all of the price increases, but I'm sorry I think its ridiculous to warrant a price like this on a vintage thats not even in pristine condition.. I'd much rather hold out to pay more for a vintage in excellent condition or just wait to buy something brand new when possible. If this were half the price maybe I'd consider it for a "project" bag.
