Would you buy a micro bag? How would you use it?

I love the looks of micro bags, they look irresistibly cute. However, to me, a bag that doesn't fit my Galaxy phone is of no use to me, no matter how beautiful. Has anyone here purchased a micro bag? How do you use it? Do you like it?
I purchased a micro version of the Delvaux tempête in Ostrich. It is far too small to be of any use so I don't use it. I very much like to look at it and play around with it but I don't see myself using it more than a few times. It was more or less to own a micro version of my larger bag, which I thought was a cute bit of whimsy.5C5C952E-97C5-4B02-B609-D3B355538B03.jpeg

I am obsessed with micro bags. Allows me to carry just literally essentials like mini sanitizer, lipstick, & cardholder and reminds me to not bring excess baggage. :D And you may carry it with a bigger bag if you are going to a place where you must carry half your house with you, like a bigger tote or crossbody and still looks so stylish and modern.

I think there’s micro and micro. I personally stay away from bags that don’t fit the bare minimum (card holder, phone, keys etc.) but one of my favorite bags in my collection is my Mulberry Micro Zipped Bayswater and I find it super practical for summer when I don’t want to carry a heavy / big bag around. I think some “micro” bags look more like keychains to me though and I just wouldn’t have any use for those.

No. I'm proud of myself that I finally figured out I hate a micro bag, or even a true mini. Oddly, I like a clutch just fine. The only reason I can think of for this distinction is that a clutch is honest about its purpose--grab three small things only, no need to pretend anything else will fit!--whereas a micro and a mini often isn't. They imply by their form that they're related to the normal bag they derive from, with functionality. Lies! Like sitting on a dollhouse chair.

I think they're extremely adorable, though.

A bag has to fit my phone. If not, it’s pointless. It also has to fit my inhaler, a bottle of sanitizer, keys and other small essentials. I think if microbags were a thing in my 20s, I probably would have been all over it. I carried the tiniest flip phone back then and even sometimes wore it in a holster on my hip. I was also irresponsible and often left my asthma inhaler at home. And I didn't always carry sanitizer before the pandemic.
Now I have a large iPhone and always have my inhaler no matter what.

Yes. I bought the Dior Micro Vanity a few months ago. It’s impractical but I couldn’t resist it because it’s ridiculously cute. I can fit cards, keys, a small compact and lipsticks inside. I keep my phone in my back pocket when I use it. No big deal. I used to buy only big bags. Decided to try something new. :)
