Would you buy a jumbo fabric reissue bag?

I am thinking of getting a jumbo fabric reissue bag -it's about USD$1450 for a secondhand but in great condition. Do you think it's worth the $$$?

I don't have a problem with fabric however if you are buying secondhand I would just make sure it's really clean, especially for that price.

^ ITA with nymifashion! Also make sure there is not too much pilling since some fabrics have a tendency to do that!

if it was a sturdy fabric like tweed, maybe... just make sure it is in pristine condition and get it protected when you get it

That doesn't sound too bad depending on the fabric and condition. If it's a coco croco jersey flap I would say it's not a bad price.

The price sounds very reasonable. I think you should go for it if you love it

Make sure there are no rub spots, which would most likely appear on the back of the purse and corners. Fabric purses can't be repaired. That said if you find one in pristine condition, I wouldn't recommend using it as a daily "driver" for that reason alone.

Agreed with jmen up there. Fabric bags really are not "everyday" bags but they are pretty to look at and should only be used on special occasions.

I agree that fabric bags should be reserved for limited use and very careful storage. I think you'll get more bang for your buck with leather bags.
