Plaid is always in every fall/winter for all ages. I don't think this particular bag skews young anyway, the young uns are currently carrying big bucket bags or micro-mini crossbodies from what I see on the streets.

I would carry it. I'm 51 and if I like it, I use it. The only type of bag I wouldn't carry are the micro-mini's because I couldn't fit anything in them.

So you are a woman of a certain age and think the bag you like is for 'younger' people. Maybe it is according to some people, but break out of that mold that others have set for people of our age and rock whatever bag you like. I can understand if it were a micro bikini or something of that nature, but it is a handbag and age shouldn't be a consideration. Handbags are like certain styles of shoes, rock them if you still can.

I say as long as it fits your style, you will rock it well. I've seen women over 50 rock Alexander Wang bags that may have been "geared towards" 20-somethings.
