Storm last week struck our TV aerial & knocked out the power in the garage. £98 to get the aeriel fixed. Had to send DH up in attic in early hours to make sure there were no smouldering cables. Well they say lightning doesn't strike the same place twice, hope so!

Well,we've had a bit of an odd day weather wise,have managed to get a lot of gardening done though before it started tipping it down again,now its sunny as you like!!!! And we did have a thunderstorm this morning,glad that one went away after reading Saras posts!!!

Apparently they got the storm in Surrey while my mum was in Waitrose. It lashed it down, thunder, lightning, hail - the works. She got to the till & the SA commented on it - Mum had been totally oblivious & hadn't even noticed it! I'm amazed I let her out on her own sometimes....

It's always like that when winter chances to summer and the other way around but then it feels better to sit at home inside of a warm blanket and zipping a hot tee
