I've been thinking about purchasing a pink diamond prong-set half eternity band that is platinum, except for the metal around the diamonds which is rose gold. I usually only wear white metals - watch and platinum and white gold. Would this clash too much? Am I being too OCD?

I think I'd eventually get some other bands with diamonds/platinum to stack with it.

All of my jewelry is silver or white gold (2 exceptions: my claddagh ring is made with traditional 10k yellow gold, and my diamond stud hand me downs are set in yellow too) and i am getting a rose gold wedding band! I found that the white gold ones lacked visual interest. GL deciding!!!!!!!

while i don't mix yellow and white, i like mixing rose and white - maybe because the rose is more subtle and blends into my skin. pink diamonds definitely need rose gold settings. it will be gorgeous!

Ok I've ordered it. Here is a stock photo - since I ordered they removed photos of the actual band (which I thought looked less crisp anyways). About .33 ct of fancy pinks coming my way! I'll post more photos when I get it. :)
