Hello, everyone!
I would love some suggestions from anyone with jewelry experience as I have virtually none. Last year I purchased a chain bracelet with a pretty disk on it in Positano. It was 7inches long when I bought it and HUGE. When I got back to the States, I took it to one of those Fast Fix stores in the mall to have it shortened. I think I got carried away because now it's only 6 inches. I have a tiny wrist and can wear it, but it's VERY difficult to put on myself, so I think I would like it a bit longer. Problem is that Fast Fix kept the links they took out (and probably melted them down for scrap since this was a year ago). I didn't think about it till later and regretted not asking for the links back. Now I don't know what to do. Can any jeweler just lengthen a bracelet, or it a huge deal to get the gold, link-style, etc. to match? I love the bracelet and the vacation it represents, so I don't want to alter it drastically. Anyone have ideas? Thanks in advance!
