Sophia: oh storing it UP is the way to go! *outside of the dustbag soooo no handle touches the rest of the bag~ except for where it loops* great idea!!
Yup, I don't store any of my Chanels in the dustbag due to color transfer and the chain handles possibl ruining/pressing into the body of the bag. I have a spare room full of bags sitting upright on top of their dustbags!
