I sold a pair of Snakilta's on ebay and the buyer received them and claimed the soles were not as described (which they were) and claims the sole is "worn through to the leather" and "needs expensive repairs" (which is also false as sole protectors cost about $40-50) and requested a refund and opened a case. She posted pictures of the shoes and I want to ask if you guys agree or think the buyer's claims are ridiculous!

That looks like very typical light wear for any pointy toe which would easily be taken care of with half soles... But clearly the buyer is not very experienced or is simply having buyer's remorse. I've dealt with buyers like that before, and I find the easiest thing to do is just accept the return. They'll just make your life hell until you do.
If you relist be sure to include pics of the soles so that they can't say they weren't warned. Good luck!

It looks like normal wear to me as well.
I'd suggest just having them return them for a full refund and start over. Such is life on eBay...
It doesn't sound like buyer is willing to do a fair sale.
