Work: Which handbag should I carry with laptop bag?

Hi there, I am still struggeling with my professional attire and would love some suggestions: I bought a new small and elegant black Bally laptop bag, which fits my laptop, cable and notebook. I will still need to carry a handbag to work for my purse, sunglasses, phone, lipstick etc. and dont want to look and feel like I am carrying too much. How do you do it and do you have any suggestions for a handbag that could work? Many thanks!

I have a collection of work totes for work related tools (mostly Kate Spade Gold Coast Collection), and then I usually carry a shoulder bag for personal items (lately its been Marc Jacobs Natasha collection or LV Galliera) or a crossbody wallet. (Patricia Nash Braided Bianca, March Jacobs Petal to the Metal). So, tote and shoulder bag or crossbody wallet.

Either a shoulder carry tote or a top handle with a long strap (like M Alexa, LC Madeleine/Mademoiselle/Shop-It or LV Montaigne empr). That way you can carry one over the shoulder and the other in your hand and switch whenever you feel like it.

You should totally buy a Neverfull from Louis Vuitton, it has helped me carry both my MacBook Air in its case and a lot of other things I need on a daily basis

I am using the dagne dover allyn tote as my work bag and keep my Chanel boy inside it during the workday. I'm really terrible at moving items from one bag to another and sometimes when I'm running out to lunch, I don't need my whole work tote with me.
