Work wardrobe essentials fall/winter

What's your work wardrobe essentials for winter/fall?
I could need some good ideas. My work style is business but I'm kinda tired of suits, regular button downs and V-necks. I'd like some new ideas for more 'trendy' tops that will go with black pants so I still look professional. Business but with an edge

My idea of office sexiness is pencil skirt with a bib front shirt (or any shirts with nice details) and a pair of sling back or pump. Its not too conservative and still says sexy.

I love a neat office-appropriate dress with mid- to high heels and a longer coat over the top. A silk blouse with a neat detail over a well cut pencil skirt in great quality fabric with some classic CL slingbacks is office appropriate and still fun.
