Did a bit of shopping at Baychester Plaza, then took the buses to La Guardia. Flushing looks like Chinatown. Can't get over how buses navigate those narrow, crowded streets. Also can't get over how many pedestrians are run over by buses in this town, not surprised. Anyway, brave me getting on a NY bus to La Guardia. Never have before.
Grabbed 3 pairs of high heels, 1 tan leather bootie, 2 dresses (1 grey, 1 black), sweetheart necklines, princess cut bodice and circle skirt. All Torrid clearance--buy 1, get 1 free; nonclearance-- buy 1, get 1 50% off. Almost forgot, 1 jacket in black.
Thank you, TB.Well it sounds like you had a fun time! The shoes are really cute on you. It's too bad you couldn't have one last hurrah at the new outlet, but it looks like you got plenty of other shopping in. I hope you have a safe flight and trip home.
Thank you, TB.
Been gone all summer. Enjoyed my time in the rolling hills of the Bay Area (not much of an SF girl--you can freeze in summer, at I mostly did since I always ended living in the shady, foggy parts.
Places further north of Berkeley have gorgeous weather, and green! I missed that.
With fall and cooler temps, it's time for me to head back west.
You're right! That was about 5 weeks ago; I spent the of main part of summer in California. I might go back again for Thanksgiving. 😊All summer? Wow. I knew it seemed like a long time ago when you were packing your things, but I didn't realize it was that long. Time flies I guess. That must have been a great adventure.
