Woodbury Common Outlets

  1. Hi everyone,
I am planning on taking a trip down to NY soon and shop like there's no tomorrow! :yahoo:

Does the Woodbury Commons have a good selection of bags? Where else do you recommend going to buy some good bags, in particular, Marc Jacobs/MbMJ, Ferragamo and LV?

    Thank you!!
  2. Woodbury is like a "village" of a lot of stores - so it'll have boutiques for Chanel, Ferragamo, Gucci, etc., along with various department store outlets like Neiman Marcus Last Call, Barneys, and Off 5th Saks...

The inventory is completely random...sometimes you'll be lucky, sometimes they won't have anything worth buying....

I know many of the department stores received fresh inventory on March 28th-ish but I'm sure all the shopping-gurus took advantage of that....

When I went on March 25th, Burberry had some really really cheap items, like cosmetic pouches and pencil cases for $50, wallets for $150, etc.

All in all, it really depends on your timing...they'll have nothing one day and so much the next...

    Good luck and have fun!
  3. Hi! I live about 25 minutes from Woodbury and it is a wonderful place to shop! Some stores have better deals than others but they have every designer store you can think of! They have a Ferragamo, Gucci, Chanel and Burberry outlet, the best outlet for Marc Jacobs of MBMJ is the Saks Off Fifth outlet. The Barney's outlet also sometimes has MJ and MBMJ. I was just there two days ago and they just opened the True Religion outlet. It was great! They had a ton of IRR jeans, skirts, capri's, and jackets all for $75! All in all it is totally worth the trip and the place is huge so be prepared to spend the whole day there! I have been to many outlets in my travels and nothing compares to Woodbury. Have a great time!
  4. Thanks so much! I'm so excited and hopefully I'll find something great there! Things are too overpriced here in Canada... it's a shame they don't have a Saks or a Neiman Marcus here!
  5. Whenever I travel to the NY area, I go to Woodbury. It is fabulous! Go with an open mind, because every store has its good moments. I bought a Celine Boogie bag for $275 last fall. I went back in February and there was nothing in Celine. So, in that sense, you just have to be open to good deals and not look for something specific. Instead I got a great Tod's Black Moccasino for $400, which I adore. I've bought great shoes at Donald Pliner. I always pick up a piece of cookware at Le Creuset, since they have not only a discount, but a seconds plus discount area. Have a GREAT time there. You'll be exhausted by the end of the day.
  6. There is a Bottega Veneta outlet there, too. I call or e-mail them with what I'm looking for and sometimes buy from them even tho I can't get there in person. I'd love to see all the shops there!
  7. there are tons of great outlets there, when i went i found the best deals at the Michael Kors outlet, loved the stuff
and the burberry one was good too

same with coach and the Prada/Miu Miu outlet had a few cute well priced wallets and clutches

There are a ton of stores there!!!! the saks off 5th and last call has some cute stuff you def have to be willing to dig through stuff!

And i think most stores get their new stuff near the end of the month!!!!!
  8. i didnt visit woodbury for a while.. the last time i went was black friday but the lines were soo long and i was soo tired, i just wanted to get out of there. i envy those of you that get to visit so often! please enjoy your visit there and let us know whats there~ if theres soething nice at chanel, like a caviar wallet that i've been wanting since forever... i will make the trip out there and snatch it!! hehe
  9. p.s. i love your cats bessie!

    Have fun and good luck!
  11. Thank you so much. I was wondering where I can get those coupons.
  12. If you have a AAA card and bring it to their info desk they'll give you a free book too.
  13. Thanks mllelouboutin! I went last weekend and made like a bandit at Celine/Pucci (warning: some stores don't let you combine coupons with their in-store markdowns). But my friend got the booklet too and told me to sign up - thanks for making it so easy. The booklet has great coupons so I recommend that Woodbury shoppers definitely sign up!
  14. Woodbury is fabulous!! I spent a ton there in Sept but all of it was great deals!! check out Tods too!!
  15. Are Prada Messenger bags ever discounted at Woodbury?
