I've been eyeing this pair of Ace Sneakers that aren't sold in the men's section:

I'm wondering if anyone knows if the width in these will be different than the width in men's. I'm speculating they say to size down because the shoes are made at the same sizes as US Men sizes. Anyone know if the width in both genders is the same?

For men... and I am using myself for an example... I am a size 10 in shoes and sneakers, but in Gucci size I am a size 8. Sometimes depending on the Gucci style, like the boots and the 1953 loafers, I range from an 8 to 9 1/2 Check the Gucci size chart on their website for your size... if you are a woman wanting a mens shoe/sneaker, the sizing will be different and you will have to go probably about 4 sizes down, or more. If you can, go into Gucci and try on one of their Ace sneakers in men size and write down that size, then go to your source to get them. Don't get stuck with a pair of sneakers you can't wear. I wish there was an easier way around this issue. Good luck

I apologize... you said these were NOT in the mens section. If they are only in the women section... you will have to go up a few sizes. Best bet... try on the Gucci Ace sneakers in men and women and see for yourself about the fit for you. If you know your European size, that will correspond with the Gucci size on the Gucci size chart. That is the closest you are going to get without actually trying them on. But I wouldn't recommend doing it that way. I am a size 42 EU and that equals a Gucci size 8.
Let us know how this works out for you.
