wishlist: tessuto gauffre

ever since i saw the ad campaign several seasons ago of the model lying on a colorful array of these gorgeous beauties, I've been hankering for one... even though at that time I had never owned a prada (i have since purchased one, thanks prada psycho for authentication help!)

i just love the bright color, the matching leather, the ruching... and the braided handles

looking forward a few months, i will finally be able to afford one of
these beauties once i start work (still in school now and very poor!). but since by then it will be way past its prime, do any of you have any tips about how i could get my hands on one?

i've seen a white one on ebay... but i am really partial to the blue or the red.

Also what is the exact name of these nylon bags? item #s.

Check websites like neiman marcus, bergdorf goodman, saks etc.

They usually list nylon pieces and if you find anything on ebay, just post on the Authenticate threads.

Also, it doesn't hurt to google with keywords such as purse forum, tessuto, gauffre etc.

There are a LOT of older threads that can provide you with more info.

(1) is it gaufre or gauffre?
(2) also does anyone know the style name of the braided handle bags from the ad? tessuto gauffre seems to be too general of a term b/c i am getting too many hits. thanks!!
