Wishlist Dilemma! Help me choose please

Hi all. I'm trying to narrow down my wishlist but it's so hard. I want to keep my collection to less than 15 bags but there are a few bags I'm lusting over:

Chanel Jumbo in black caviar w shw
Hermes Evelyne PM in rouge tomate
Gucci Marmont small in red
YSL WOC in black


The Jumbo has been on my list forever though I worry a little about the size (I'm 5'2"). I love the Evelyne but I know I don't need another crossbody. Still, she's beautiful and has also been on my list for a few years. I like the Gucci marmont a lot and want a small shoulder bag. If money were no option this would be a Chanel M/L in red. I don't have any small black bags and I think the YSL would be a good evening bag.

If you could only pick 2 or 3, what would you choose?

I would eliminate the jumbo. They look a bit out of proportion to me and, at 5’2” I would think it would get super heavy for you very quickly. Then the Gucci would be the next to go. The Hermès is a casual bag that you don’t have in your collection. You also don’t have a small black evening bag and they are work horses.

Definitely get a classic black Chanel (jumbo or medium) since you’ve liked it for a long time! I’m 5’4 and I have the medium; I find the jumbo way too big for my frame.
I’d also get the YSL since you don’t have a small black evening bag.
Marmont is a definite no— it’s not classic unlike the other bags and it seems like you’d be settling for it when you really want a red Chanel flap.
The Evelyne is classic but you already have quite a few crossbodies— maybe save up for the red Chanel you want instead

Thank you for your input! I'm a little worried about the weight on the jumbo but I'm afraid of spending $5k+ on the M/L and it not fitting my items. I wish I was near a store to test them out again.

I realized that I might be settling with the Gucci when I know the Chanel is what I want. I would hate for the Gucci to look dated in a few years and I get tired of it, whereas the Chanel is completely classic. I think you're right that I should pass on the marmont and save for what I really want.

I can probably wait on the Evelyne too since I have so many crossbody bags. I saw two women carrying Evelyne bags which is very uncommon for where I live and every time I see someone carrying it I want it! Lol.

I think I've made up my mind... for now lol

Among all the bags you have both in your closet and on your wish list, indeed there is no small black bag. So how about that smaller Chanel flap in black? It's a bit of everything; a C better for your frame than the Jumbo, you already have alot of colorful crossbody bags (incl. a red Disco) and the C would maybe do double duty as an evening bag as well?
