I love your Willis collection. I have an original too and I love it! Congrats on your eBay finds.
if it has a dowel across it MUST be a Willis?? 
Someday my Post Pouch will be on the 'bay just waiting for me.........honestly, the Post Pouch looks more like a Poppy Willis, than the Willis does..that's why I fell in love with it the first time I saw an auction with one!!

The Post Pouch is somewhere between a Poppy Willis and new Mini Willis, she is about 8X8, maybe a little smaller.
I think the Logan, behind her, is closer to the new Willis. One of these days I need to wear the Logan to the mall to get her pic taken with the new Willis to compare. I think she's constructed a little flatter on the bottom though:
Here's a little bit closer up pic of the Post Pouch, this bag is immaculate. The only reason to dunk her is to maybe fluff up the sides a bit, she was probably stored unstuffed and is a little flat. The rest of the bag looks like new:
That's a properly listed Station Bag behind her, though it did say "Willis" in the description. She just wanted to be in the picture with her cousins:
I also have a Sheridan Monticello in here which WAS listed as a Willis and does NOT have a dowel:
Kind of the same construction as the Logan minus the dowel-it's not really an Italian bag (made in NYC) but shares some of the same weird styling stuff as an Italian. The Logan and the Monticello are two of my favorite bags!
Guess which bags didn't have "Willis" anywhere in the description? Meet my Green "Station bag"(who just got a dunk and is not this dark)
and my "Coach Satchel" (who snuck in the house before I took her close up, she's kinda shy
Wow! What a great pic to see all the differences between them. If I were outside taking pics of my bags, my DF would really think I flipped. He looks at me like I am a lunatic when I am taking pics of my bags....

One of these days I'm adding a Poppy Willis to the collection, I just haven't found the right color yet. I have these gals to comfort me till the TDF color appears.
OK, one more close up...Logan looked a little sad and delapidated in that picture-it was a well loved bag and was fairly dirty before I brought her home and washed her. (she's even been through the washing machine!) I carry her quite a bit but she's been stored for a little while and needed a bit of conditioning so I put a coat of BlackRocks on her and added her new accessory and took another picture:
You may not have noticed in the group shot, but the Logan does NOT have a top handle like the Willis. When I got her she was especially dirty around the leather on the dowel. When I found myself grabbing her there, and wondering if she'd end up "burnished" like she was before, I had an inspiration, so I ordered this handle from Silver Coach-btw they were very helpful and even called me to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted:
And just a couple more shots so you can see the details, the pockets and everything else about the Logan is very similar to the Willis, except for the shape. The Postal Pouch has all the same detailing, but is a couple inches smaller all around. The Logan might be slightly fatter (front to back) than the Willis, but not by much:
