Will the MINI Hudson from Chloé be TOO mini when the mini-trend had passed?

Or is it big enough to not look too tiny when the trend is over? Is it a timeless size for a small bag or will it look absurdly small later?

I can't remember how small small bags were before the super tiny mini bag was a thing. Haha.

The bag itself doesn't look absurdly small, but the metal hoops do look somewhat disproportionately large in comparison to the bag. If you like the look then its fine. But, I have seen secondhand hudson bags and they don't seem to age well.

They don't? Ive never seen one used. I have both a motty grey mini and a motty grey small Hudson, and due to the bigger one being bought on sale it is significantly cheaper than the mini (both are brand new). I want to keep one, and I think that I prefer the mini on me, despite me being quite tall, but I don't know if I can't justify keeping the mini for full price when I got the small for ~$400 cheaper? I really don't know what to do. Especially if they don't age well... Then it might be stupid till pay "extra" for the originally cheaper mini, in my situation? (Student with a limited budget)

I don't consider that a mini. It's timeless to me.

Thanks for your opinion. I really like the look of the mini on me, despite me being quite tall and having broad shoulders etc, but I can't decide if I should go for the mini or small (small being cheaper due to being on sale)... I like the mini more for now, but might I regret taking the mini later!?

I really don't know what to do!

Both sizes look cute, but personally I would get more use out of the small size. I don't carry around a lot of stuff, but I find that a purse I have that is close to mini size( more rectangular though)just takes too much maneuvering when I'm out running errands. I have to make sure everything is just so to fit properly. I prefer to use that bag when I'm doing something like walking on the boArdwalk at the beach, or a quick trip to take my daughter to school. So, even though you like the look of the mini, which works best with your lifestyle?

I have always been a big bag kind of girl, and now I recently bought a dionysus WOC, and since then that is all I carry! Lol. I Love that it is light and easy, and I don't carry around everything that I own anymore. I really enjoy it, but I have never really had a medium size bag, but for now I do fine with the woc, unless I need to carry a ton, or my computer, books, clothes etc, but then I just take one of the big bags instead. I can't fit my MacBook into the small Hudson either anyway, so I guess the mini would be fine for my needs. I was planning om using this bag as a "boho"-looking summer bag, not to cover any special needs, just to carry my essentials. Probably just to swich out my Dionysus woc every now and then.

I hate that I got the small for a super great price..... Haha. I am too cheap to let that pass.... :/ Especially since I do not know if this would be a "forever bag", I just thought it would be super cute for summer! I would not wear it all year around.

I saw some hudson bags in a consignment boutique. Most of them had scratches on them that were very obvious against the (calf?) leather. In that state they did not look like luxury handbags. Personally I don't think the hudson is worth the money, even though the design is cute. If I were in your situation I would keep the small, as I think it looks more proportionate to its hardware.

I ended up keeping a small Hudson in motty grey (the larger one that is) as I found it for 70% off and I could not justify spending over twice what it cost on the mini.

I will start using it next summer, hopefully the size will look right on me and I hope I won't regret my my choice, even though I believe the mini would have covered my "summer bag"-needs just fine. I really don't carry that much. I tried the different sizes and they both looked so different depending on what outfit I was wearing. I could not decide wich one I visually prefered size wise.

The biggest con with the small was the weight though! Ugh!!! But I think the look is super cute in a casual "boho" kind of way! Perfect for summer!
