Will the Gucci Marmont bags go out of fashion?

I am considering buying my first Gucci bag and am wondering what thoughts are on the Marmont flap bag. Is it now a classic? Or is it only going to appeal for a few years?

I love mine! I got the nude color as it is a great neutral. It's a leather flap and chain strap, so even if the hype slows down (which is has to an extent), I think it will be a classic style for a while. Even LV is trying to copy it with their New Wave bag (which I happen to find ugly). I also think the nude is unique - it's not too brown and not too cream. I really enjoy mine and plan on using it for years to come.

I have the Small Mormont in black and I what I love about it is that it’s casual enough to use during the day but also goes well with evening / cocktail outfits. For the price tag, I’d better be able to wear it where I damn well please! And while I would in no sense think that this bag will stay trendy forever, it is also one of those bags that will be etched in the minds of bag lovers because of its popularity. I wouldn’t hesitate at all to go for it! Plus with the recent 10-15% sales at net a porter, Nordstrom etc., you might be able to snag a good discount too!

It's a classic leather bag that will NEVER go out of style.
I have many marmont leather bags in different styles.
I am not worried at all.
