Will Louis Vuitton repair the hardware on this round coin purse?

I had been eyeing this item for a while and found it at Modaselle so I picked it up. I got it verified authentic by Liyah's Luxuries but am waiting to see what the ladies on the authentication thread here say before removing the tag.

It is in great condition aside from some wear on one side of the zipper pull so I was wondering if LV will be able to repair it for me. I have read that they will replace zipper pulls but i'm not sure if that's only on larger items or if it's also on SLGs. Also will the fact that I am not the original owner cause any issues? Apologies for all of the questions as this is my first LV item

They can do this on the spot while you wait, as long as the item is authentic. This pull is on so so many things, I am sure that almost all stores have them.

I was also at first (especially with pre-loved) but now I'm in their system. Just make sure that it's authenticated first to avoid an embarrassing situation

Hehe yes agreed! Do you think it's enough to authenticate via Liyah's Luxuries and on the authentication thread here or would you do any additional ones if it were you? I definitely want to be sure

I, instead, made my own strap on a 1984 pre-loved cartouchiere and used the original metal hardware.

I actually ended up passing along the coin purse to a friend so I never ended up taking it in to find out, sorry

I agree, it's super cute! But my friend really wanted it and I had bought it to use for my cash but my bills were getting caught in the zipper so it felt like the right thing to do btw I think your modification looks quite nice!
