Will I be taxed?

Hi. I found a bnew evelyne that I really like from an ebay seller from Paris. I am from the Philippines and I wonder if I will get taxed if I will have the item shipped to me through USPS international. Has any of you had problems with customs before? TIA.

I really want to buy the bag asap... Before somebody else finds it! )

If the seller is in Paris, they won't be able to ship the bag using USPS. They'll have to use a European shipper.

Oh okay. I guess the courier is easy to fix. My real concern is the possibility of getting taxed for the item. I just don't want to get surprised or anything.

you need to check the import duties and tax in the Phillippines based on the declared value of the goods you are buying..

you definitly should do that. I am from Europe and I called customs today as i wanted to know. they told me ordering from the US it would be 3% customs and 20% duty.... that is about 25 % more.....
