Will Dooney ever have another TSV on QVC?

Don't know. They had a 2 hour show this weekend with lots of items
on sale for 25% off and more. A TSV requires a lot of volume, so I don't
know if there is one being planned.
The old days are gone.... when Dooney had many shows and dozens of colors
in the most popular styles, including Florentine leather. I miss those shows.

Wow I didn't realize that, but now that you mention it yeah there hasn't been one in a while.
I feel like the last Dooney TSV was pre covid. There have been some Big Deals but they don’t seem to get the attention that the TSVs used to.
I do miss them and Sue Clifton too. I used to record the shows so I could fast forward past the bags I wasn’t interested in.

Oh I didn’t realize! I do remember watching the Lucy presentation. A gorgeous bag.
QVC also recently had "A Big Deal" as well. That was also a florentine bag...one of the newer satchels. Very pretty but I like the option of a strap. That bag was hand/arm carry only.
Dooney sometimes re-releases handbags, either in a different or the same leather.
They may look like the original but be a different size and sometimes the features/details have been changed.... for example exterior or interior pocket design
and straps (length or addition of 3 part shoulder/crossbody strap).
I have to remind myself to look at all the details of the 'new' release and
not just assume it's the same as the one I have or saw in the past.
Sometimes the changes make the bag much more usable for me.
Sometimes the new 'size' is too small for my needs.
Sometimes the shoulder strap is now removeable when it wasn't
in the older version.
With the passage of time, many of us realize how much we miss the
early/original Florentine designs. It's nice to see some of them
coming back and the reappearance of more colors. I don't know if we
will ever see over 20 colors of Florentine handbags at the same time again.
But it would be nice to see more of the rainbow of colors they used to

I was watching QVC early this morning. they were selling dooney bags. The Dooney person (not the QVC host) repeatedly described what was obviously silver HW as 14k gold plated. I couldn't believe no one corrected her. seems she sees any metal HW as gold.
