Will Dior be cheaper in London than the US?

or no since there's no more vat refund? I'm thinking about purchasing a book tote & the woven bracelets if it's cheaper. Thx!
Yes, because prices in Europe are always cheaper for these European luxury brands. You can just switch the country on Dior’s website to see the exact price in euros. That is exactly what you would pay without receiving a vat refund.

Yeah bummer

The UK Gov are looking into VAT rebates for international shoppers.

ATM, you can buy from the UK and import into the US. UK tax (VAT) will NOT be added to your bill, but US State duties will then usually apply.

Obviously, UK residents have to pay VAT. Plus, we have to pay duties on goods from abroad.

Unless buying from a duty free location, I guess it's fair we all pay duties somewhere to someone.

London does not have Euros so while there is a slight discount (given a conversion from pounds to US dollars), it is not much.

Hmm so I wonder If it’s cheaper to ship it home? I did end up buying a Dior bracelet which came out to less $ than in USA after the conversion & am thinking about whether to go back to Harrod’s for a book tote…
