Will a black Le Fab work??

My fiancee has a work dinner/event. I found this super cute dress at Jcrew, pics posted below. I'm going to wear my LV black satin pleated pumps and I was thinking that my black Le Fab would look awesome. Do you think that this bag appropriate? TIA
