Almost 40 years ago, I inherited a very wide 14 carat bangle with etching designs all around. I have never worn it and it needs a major polish, clean and shine! Do you think very wide all gold bangles is a dated grandmother look or is it classic? Anyone here wear bangles like this or have any photos to share?

Do you like it? If so, get it polished and make it your own!
I never worry about trends, looking dated. I dress for myself and know what I like; of course, I am older than many on these boards. I just turned 40 last month. LOL...

I love bangles and mix them all up to wear all the time.

I would love to have a bangle like that. I have a couple gold bangles I wear all the time, and I layer them with charm bracelets and byzantines and rolos. Its a classic look.

Do you like the bracelet? If you like it, get it polished up and wear that baby! If you don't like it, don't wear it, maybe put it by for your daughter, niece, etc.
Personally, when it comes to jewelry I wear what I love, not what the trends dictate. I have a charm bracelet,as well as regular gemstone and diamond bracelets and bangles. I have a large solid gold wheat bracelet with diamond accents on the clasp that I adore. Depending on my mood, depends what I wear and what I wear it with!

IMO bangles are a classic... maybe add a couple of thin ones to make them a little more your own
