Wich Pochette Métis to buy as an investment? Monogram or Black empreinte?

I’m in the same debacle in November 2022. I like the monogram but also the black eimpreinte. But my main interest is that i want to buy a pochette metis as an investment. I’m not planning to use it. Which bag would you buy that would retain the retail value or go up in price? I see that both bags PM Mono and black Empreinte are available in the usa and europe. Wich one should buy first if i want yo sell it later. I know is difficult to look in the future but i would like to get an opinion from you thinking in value instead of what i like. I like the monogram the most but also the black in eimpreinte wich on do you think (or have experience with)will keep its retail value. Thanks !
Also i have to buy from the internet in Holland because there’s no store near where i live (like 3 hours from one) and there is no way to make an appointment for the next 3 month. I would appreciate your responses thank you in advance for your time to help me with my dilemma.

Bags aren't really investments. Between the two, canvas will hold better value over time.

Why not buy what you really like and enjoy using it?

At the current retail price I don’t think that the PM is an investment (well any bag for that matter). The preloved market is flooded with these bags way below current retail.

But short answer to your questions, canvas typically has a higher resale value than empreinte

Neither. I think LV as an investment is a really risky decision. Things could crack or peel before you notice. Or it may just not hold its value.

I would say empreinte because it's beautiful.
But it's not an investment

Monogram!

LVs most sold bags all canvas bags in monogram or DE. The mono bag was not available for a long time but they had the leather bags in stock.

I agree with those above that say neither. But if I had to pick one it’d be monogram. The price increases have been much more significant vs. the empriente. Canvas holds its value much better than empriente. But as everyone mentioned, neither are hard to get currently.

I agree @onlyk the price is so high now whereas about 2 or 3 years ago keeping a new one would have been a good investment

The Pochette Metis is too often to see, it has become a very common bag.
It's never an investment, not in Mono and not in Empreinte.

Neither is an investment, for sure. The one that will depreciate less is the Monogram. Leather LV bags always fare worse than canvas long term in % loss compared to original retail. Oh, and be sure to not use it.
