I quite like the leather versions of the bag i have to say. It's the fact that this is denim, why so expensive, I don't get it. I posted the denim bag I made using Loewe denim a while back. I think I bought 2 metres of it, can't remember exactly how much I paid for the fabric but it was under £30, and I'll get another bag out of it!

Yeah we told our SA no way for this bag - she sent mod shots. It is over S$6k in Singapore!! The upcoming David Sims beaded squeeze bags would be around S$20k apparently.

Ok, maybe I’m part of the problem but I fell in love with this bag as soon as I saw it on the runway and I bought it. I love it so much. Yes it’s a ridiculous price for denim, but they charge a lot for their denim ready-to-wear as well (though obv not as much as leather pieces), there actually is a decent amount of leather in the bag - the woven handle and the inside lining with the pouch - and I also think they looked at Chanel and LV and saw them charging equivalent prices for their denim bags.

Well I have to say, it actually looks fabulous on you. And if you love it and it makes you happy then that makes it worth it.
It's very cute. All that matters is that you like/love it.
Is the leather woven handle part comfortable on your shoulder?
It’s not UNcomfortable. The handle feels squishy, it’s actually pretty fun to fidget with, and when it sits on the shoulder in the right spot it’s comfy enough, even loaded up heavy. If you have it adjusted longer it can slide off center which can be annoying. I used it as my carry-on with 2 small kids on a cross country flight and was happy with my choice. The external denim pocket is actually a super handy easily-accessible place to put a phone and boarding pass.
