Why there isn't a Vera Bradley subforum?

I would love to see other Vera Bradley collectors' bags! I know there are so many of us here. Please add Vera Bradley subforum! Thanks!

You know, I agree. There are times when fancy designer bags are just not what I want to carry (like on a beach far away), or when I want something light and washable. I know for a fact that this brand has a super loyal following (I was in the airport the other day and there was a lady carrying three vera Bradley bags, with three different patterns. I thought, "now there's a collector!" It was great.

Plus, I hear that there are some new leather offerings, and she does have shops in a lot of malls, just like coach, Michael Kors, etc, etc.

I think there should be a subforum also.

I'd be interested in reading...I once read that you don't always become a Vera Bradley fan till you find "your" pattern. I found my favorite (Midnight Blues) when I was at a conference and needed an extra carry-on bag for some books I had bought. I found a duffel bag in Midnight Blues on sale and used it on the flight back. That pattern is now retired.

I will say I'm not a fan of the new plastic lining that Vera Bradley company is using.

I know this is an old thread but I used to be a big Vera Bradley fan! I eventually sold or gave away most of my collection and got into Louis Vuitton. I just went into the outlet yesterday and got a really cute striped beach tote. I like that it's a pretty neutral color - white and lilac- with a floral printed pocket inside. I also got a cute crossbody bag for walks along the boardwalk. I don't like using my LV's when I'm at the beach or pool- I can just feel the canvas "melting". I think VB is perfect for the hot weather down here. And there are solid options- not just floral prints! Of course I had to buy a few pouches to throw in my tote. [emoji846]

I agree! I own a few of the cotton as well as the leather bags. The leather bags are of wonderful quality! I get many compliments on them and people are shocked to find they are from Vera Bradley.

They make solid color bags too which is what I always carry on vacation. No worries about what happens to it!
