I'm so disappointed! I've been waiting (maybe not so patiently) for either the Selma or Sutton to come out in large in any of the fall colors: dusty rose, olive, wisteria, etc. I noticed last year that there were fewer in the large, but this year there are none! Is it the end of the large bags? I hope not because I need big bags!

I noticed this too. Plus, the large bags were/ are heavily discounted. Even the neutrals which rarely went on sale. I think he is phasing out the large bags. I really hope not because I love the large Selma.....[emoji3]

I also noticed this! Even on Macy's website the large Selma is on sale and the black is the only color I see left at regular price and the medium Selma is available in 13, colors! I do think the large is being fazed out.

He's not the only one. Rebecca Minkoff has pretty much stopped pricing her famous MAC bag in the regular size and is only offering mini's. Fashion goes in cycles. Perhaps the large bags are on the way out and the smaller ones are on their way in.

The black Selma was the only large at my local Macy's last week. There were no large Suttons (maybe black) that I recall....

I wonder if it is just the Selma/ Sutton. As it seems the US is mostly getting the large Riley, even though the small is readily available here. So maybe the soft leather large ones are staying but Saffiano is going smaller. I've not been looking for large Selma's though, I love my medium sized Selma but I do love my large Riley.

Mini/micro bags are definitely what's trending right now in the fashion industry. It's unfortunate for those of us who carry larger bags based on our needs such as work or school. That being said, MK are supposed to release new items for their fall line on Sept 9th, according to my SA. I wanted the Large Sutton in a different colour and right now only Black and Dark Khaki are available. I have the former colour in the TB Robinson style already and the latter colour is too light for me. From a business perspective it makes sense not to release popular styles and colours for Fall until after all the Labour Day sales.

For me I know I'll NEVER be able to carry a small/medium size bag. I'm a big bag girl all the way! Especially working a 9 hour day and being in the car for an hour and half each day I need to know I have everything with me. Especially a bottle of water. I guess it's more comfort than anything

Me too! I could never fit everything I need for work, my daughter, and just life in general in a medium or small :(

I couldn't live without my big bags! So many things to carry around to work, school, kids, etc. Hopefully they won't faze out the big beauties. I would hate to carry around a small/medium purse AND a tote or backpack for all my needs!

Large bags are a must! Not everyone uses bags according to fashion updates. Many use bags for practical purposes. What if you want a multi bag to use as a purse and to carry your ipad to work or school?? How going out of town?? What about Mothers that have to carry it all?? Many people have to have large bags! To phase them out just for style updates, is ridiculous!

I sympathise as I find it frustrating too. I like my bags to be practical and I have to carry my meds so a large bag is a must.

Unfortunately, every handbag designer this year went for small to tiny bags. I can't imagine paying that much money for what is a purely decorative item.
