Dear TPFers, there’s been a recent surge in popularity in the Dior saddle bags and particularly the Rasta saddle bag, to the point where vintage bags are being sold for a premium price now. Why is the Rasta saddle in particular so popular now? Is it a special limited edition? I’ve seen these in mint condition, being sold for up to AUD$4.9k on eBay!

They were not a special limited edition when they were released. The Rasta version has been seen on some celebrities recently, which is probably why the resale price is so high now.
